3/8" plywood sidewalls are standard and are much stronger than lauan. They are thick enough to mount accessories.

WELD PREP
Every exposed weld joint on a Pace trailer frame is wire-brushed and coated with a zinc based primer --others just weld and paint, leaving it much more prone to rust.
